Project Description

This project aims to increase education & protect our environment in 2000 households by replacing unclean sources of energy for lighting with solar-based household lighting.
In Rwanda, many children live in non-electrified villages making them difficult to do school work. By providing solar powered lamps, we hope to further the educational endeavors of 2000 school students.1500 individual students will be provided with a solar lamp which they can use at home, and 500 students will be able to study at a common lighted space with solar powered tube lights.
The Project will help beneficiaries to be grouped into Small Helped Groups to facilitate their trainings and easy assistance.
